WIL sponsors at least five educational events each year. Through our programs, WIL educates members about the economic, social, health, educational and political issues that impact women in developing countries on a daily basis.

Guests are invited to attend their first program free of charge in support of WIL’s mission of bringing quality education surrounding women’s global issues to the public.

We bring in expert speakers with on-the-ground experience in dealing with these challenges. They help members gain a deeper understanding of the issues, their causes and best practices that have succeeded in ameliorating and even alleviating some problems.

This learning empowers and inspires WIL members to take action and become agents of change in furthering WIL’s mission.

WIL’s programs also build a common sense of purpose and community through the networking and interactive program discussions that occur at program meetings.
