We look forward to having your join the WIL Film Club on Wednesday, May 17 at 7 p.m. for Rita Moreno starring in "West Side Story." The Film Club reviewed the documentary which explored Moreno's humble upbringing as well as her experiences with racism last December.
As we had planned to travel to Puerto Rico, we continue this theme with discussing the original West Side Story released in 1961. Rita Moreno delivered an incredible performance in the film, winning her a Best Supporting Actress Oscar. This American Musical romantic drama film directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins will lead to a great discussion 62 years after the original release date of this film.
