Friendship Bridge and Las Campesinas Village Bank

Friendship Bridge works primarily with indigenous Guatemalan women in rural areas where the rate of poverty in Guatemala is the highest. While illiteracy and poverty rates are staggering in these regions, the women we work with are determined to create a change.

Nicaragua suffers from the highest cervical cancer mortality rate of any country in the Americas. Attending to this overwhelming public health concern, Pro Mujer has provided nearly 22,500 cervical cancer screenings in the last two years.

The Small Enterprise Foundation (SEF) is a pro-poor microfinance institution (MFI) that was founded in 1992. SEF provides financial and non-financial services to about 113,000 women in rural areas in Limpopo in 2014.

Buduburam is a​ UNHCR​ refugee camp ​near Accra, Ghana​, with more than 12,000 refugees from Liberia​ and Sierra Leone. The camp is served by Liberian and international NGO groups and volunteer organizations.
